I googled “Sexiest Job of 21st Century”. The answer was “Data Scientist”!
At first, I was clueless. What is “Data Science”? What are the skills I need to learn to become one? How much time will it take? Where to start? Is it worth it?
I have worked for a decade as an Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant. Data and Databases are my specialties. But, I have never tried to find out what the Data has to say.
I googled again and went through multiple links. There are so many courses, workshops, study materials on the web. It is confusing. So, what I figured out is that I need to start at some point and then gradually dig deeper. I selected a mentor-led course to start with. I am learning new things, new skills that I have never heard of. It is super exciting!
